  1. Despite this council member being the most toxic in terms of divisiveness and grandstanding, she will find it more difficult to maneuver in the new council with 2 seats flipping against DSA. Constituents and stakeholders in the city are exhausted with no results from council and mayor in terms of downtown recovery. No idea generation on incentives to open up businesses in the downtown or uptown areas. What has Wonsley accomplished? Stop giving her an audience and definitely do not vote her in as President and VP. We need real ideas to enable the most important economic driver for the region to recover. Her days are numbered as an agitator if council/mayor can get legislation passed in spite of her.

  2. As somebody who lives outside the Twin Cities, but used to visit several times per month for entertainment and dining, you’re heading in the wrong direction. The wife and I made the switch to the suburbs, mainly Wayzata, Edina, Minnetonka, Eden Prairie, Victoria, and Waconia, years ago, but are saddened by the deterioration in our state’s two largest cities. The last straw was when our car was vandalized while having lunch . . . in broad daylight.

  3. She is a truly appalling person. So full of herself, sorely lacking in humility and common sense, and absent any talent for public work. And, like most people who aren’t that smart, she overvalue her own intelligence and qualifications.

  4. Since the City election in 2021, easy to take note of, AND identify, all manner of CM Wonsley’s attention seeking manuevers, as we now see with her in trying to tie herself to a win for the DSA in NYC.

The biggest problem for her, and as a result the City of Mpls, is refected in a personality disorder, with this extreme need to keep her name out there, to get attention, that allows for her to easily move to the LIE, and all manner of questionable activities….DESPITE being an employee of the City of Mpls, in her “role as a representative.”

If this were ANY other type of employment, Wonsley would have been fired within the first few months. Why? because while the City of Mpls pays her, she only functions as an employee of the TCDSA.
