Commentary & Analysis (up to 800 words) In-depth perspectives on Minneapolis issues that require insider knowledge to fully understand. We’re looking for substance, not hot takes.

Letters to the Editor (250 words or fewer) Informed responses to our articles, and other issues in the news that elevate the conversation with additional context or alternative viewpoints.

• Professional credentials or relevant expertise clearly stated
• Fact-based analysis rooted in direct experience

We publish without fear or favor, but we don’t publish everything. Every piece must meet our standards for accuracy, relevance, and insight. Due to submission volume, we cannot respond to all queries.
