Trump Flails While Epstein Ghosts Haunt

Trump and his ilk are stealing from our future by destroying the present: all for personal power and money.

Trump and his billionaire friends are systematically destroying not just our government but also the American Dream: the dream that a log-splitter could become President and an immigrant, Albert Einstein, could revolutionize physics and mathematics opening the door to endless technological advances.

Nations that looked up to us for leadership are now fearful of what we are becoming. The country that rebuilt war-torn Europe and Asia after World War 2 and served as the bulwark against Russian expansion now has leadership that sidles up to dictators and publicly rebukes NATO.

Trump and his ilk are stealing from our future by destroying the present: all for personal power and money. He has introduced hate and suspicion as a substitute for unity, We are no longer the world’s “melting pot “ where people from all over the world are welcome. The light of the Statue of Liberty is now dark and foreboding with warnings of fear. That marvelous sense of American optimism is being replaced with masked men terrorizing and imprisoning on a scale reminiscent of Adolph Hitler.

And as Trump muscled Congress, the courts, businesses, universities, the media, despair grew. We needed leadership and a new resolve. A resolve that is unrelenting and uncompromising. And now it is arriving and, not from the powerful, but from the courage of women destroyed by Epstein and Trump. Well, that resolve is growing and is instilling a new determination in others like those ordinary citizens who have been pushed too far. Already, Republicans in Congress are in flight fearing their own constituents and fleeing Washington to avoid painful votes on the Epstein-Trump scandal after watching their leader flail aimlessly realizing that the quagmire is slowly pulling him under.
