Via MPRB: West Lake Harriet Parkway is scheduled to close between 42nd Street and 45th Street beginning Monday, Dec. 2, 2024. The closure is permitted through Dec. 31, 2024, and necessary for CenterPoint Energy to replace gas lines in the area.
Traffic will be detoured to Sheridan/Upton Avenue S. Local access will be maintained and trails will remain open, but please follow detours, slow down, and stay out of work areas. The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board appreciates the public’s patience while public infrastructure is repaired.
